If there’s ever a time to split the G, the exact midpoint of the year feels appropriate.

The venue-specific posters spotlight the unique Guinness tradition of 'Splitting the G,' where drinkers align the head of their stout with the 'G' on the pint glass, found halfway up. The posters were physically placed in beer gardens where the sunset would join in on splitting the ‘G’ too.

To mark the occasion, patrons could toast sunset on the winter solstice, the year's midpoint, with a free Guinness by signing up for The Guinness Brewery of Meteorology web app.
